Fr. Michael Melican, a member of the Rosminian Order, has worked in East Africa as a missioner for most of his priestly life. However, during one of his breaks, he was appointed to Glencomeragh as Director and spent five years here before returning again to Tanzania in 1997. He has now retired from his work in East Africa and has joined the community at Glencomeragh.
